September 2006 Prayers and Thoughts for the 5th Anniversary of 9/11 On Sunday, September 10th, our New York Jewish Healing Center is co-sponsoring the Interfaith Memorial Service: Remembering Those Who Dies on 9/11/01 on the Fifth Anniversary of the Attacks with Congregation Bnai Jeshurun and The Church of St. Paul and St. Andrew. Below are quotes from previous years commemorations. We encourage you to join with us for this event as well as to share the below with your community. I hear the approaching thunder, I can feel the suffering of millions, and yet, if I look up into the heavens, I think that it will all come out right one of these days; that this cruelty will end, and that peach and tranquility will return again. In the meantime, I must hold on to my ideals for perhaps the day will come when I shall be able to carry them out.
